Location: Dunadd Area, Lochgilphead
Salary: £10,000 for 11 hours per week (12-month contract)

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Development Worker to join us at Dunadd Community Enterprise. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping our community grow stronger and thrive.
Working from the local Community Plan, you’ll support people to turn ideas into action — whether that’s helping to shape new projects, bringing people together, or finding creative ways to make things happen. At the heart of the role is building strong relationships, encouraging participation, and creating positive, lasting change for everyone in the Dunadd area.
Main Responsibilities
- Build connections with community members, groups, and organisations.
- Support delivery of the work plan developed by Dunadd Community Enterprise Directors.
- Help bring ideas from the Community Plan to life as practical projects.
- Promote inclusion, making sure all voices in our community are heard.
- Share progress and updates with DCE Directors.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Understands community development and values inclusive ways of working.
- Knows about the Scottish Social Enterprise strategy.
- Has experience managing projects and seeing them through to success.
- Is practical, solution-focused, and able to turn ideas into action.
- Enjoys helping organisations grow and thrive.
- Communicates well and can connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Is confident using social media to engage the community.
