New micro grant scheme launched to support residents and community groups across Dunadd!

Dunadd Community Enterprise (DCE) has been included as one of 8 community organisations to operate the Argyll and Kintyre 275kV Micro-grant Scheme on behalf of SSEN Transmission with a total of £6,000 per annum available to support the Dunadd community council area over the next 5 years.

DCE are excited to welcome applications for small grants of up to £500, or £1,000 in exceptional cases, from groups or individuals for any project, idea or resource that will benefit the community within the Dunadd Community Council Area. Smaller grants of less than £250 will continue to be available from Dunadd Community Council on behalf of A’Cruach Community Fund.

DCE directors are particularly keen to welcome applications that support three key areas of focus for the Dunadd area; strengthening our community resilience to climate change, reducing community isolation for all ages, and celebrating the beauty and cultural significance of Dunadd and its people.

The application process opens on 3rd November on their website – dunadd.scot/SSENgrant – with the first decision panel taking place on 13th January 2027. Support for completing applications is available from their development officer via development@dunadd.scot.

Dunadd Community Enterprise is one of 8 Community organisations across Argyll and Bute that have been selected to administer this micro grant scheme on behalf of SSEN Transmission. You can find out more about SSEN Community Benefit Funding, including their larger grant schemes on their website.
